I didn’t do a whole lot here to change the design I was given, I just tried to make more sense of it (which I guess was pretty futile given the subject matter) but there you have it. Alrighty, here is something I’m working on. Some mock logos and posters for the march to sacramento for gay (and other) rights!!! More to come once these get reviewed, and a finished poster is on the waaaaaay!!!!
Happy holidays everyone. If I weren’t so full of food and eggnog, I might be tempted to draw something and throw it up for the occasion. However, as it stands, I am at home and will not be back in CA till the new year! Oh, joy to 2009, aside from the crappy economy, I actually have a lot to look forward to. i realize i haven’t posted anything new in a while, but i’ve been too consumed with trying to find a new place to live and packing, and interviewing, and all that stuff. but i have a couple of completed works, please observe:

Oryx & Crake the website, which is being animated by Ryan, the lead in the band. the cogs turn and there is a crake that flies across the screen, and more victorian prettiness on the other pages etc. I’ll let you know when it goes live, dont worry! as soon as i move houses, hopefully i’ll be producing more work, so stay tuned oh faithful readers!!!
So my cousin went to Libya to location scout for a film she has in the works. Needless to say the pics she snapped were amazing, so i’ll be excited to work on it when its gets going, hopefully sometime next year. Here is a sneak peek at some press i cooked up on her behalf. Its all very rough, but there will be more later hopefully….

i’ve done quite a bit of poster rescuing these days, and this is my latest attempt. basically i get given a less than par poster and get told to make it awesome. so, here goes nothing… the first image was pretty much verbatim of what i was given, and then i used my creative license to make two new posters which i think should be used in lieu of the original.
